"Hi I'm Louise and I am happy to admit I am totally addicted to paper crafts.  I live in rural New Zealand on a small lifestyle block with my scrapbook supportive Husband Andrew and our 4 children, who I am sure you will get to know alot better through my layouts.
I am a huge fan of flowers, patterned paper and anything PINK (this can become a little difficult when scrapping my 3 boys).  I love lumpy, bumpy layouts but lately I seem to be tending toward more graphic "flat" looking pages, I think this has more to do with getting my photos scrapped in a more timely manner than the actual "look" of the layout. I also make cards and enjoy sewing ( I said enjoy I did not say I am good at it.lol) I have started to sew on my layouts recently now that my sewing machine is out on my desk so you will probably see alot of pink, flowers and sewing.  I am so excited to be a part of the SYC team and I am looking forward to getting started"

I love to travel, and scrapbooking fits right into that passion for me. I scrap mostly my trips, and while I'm working on a layout, I'm immersed back into the place I'm scrapping. ”Hello, my name is Norine.  I'm a not-quite-50 yr old, mother of 4+ a daughter-in-law, married to Paul for 30 years, misplaced Canadian living in Arizona. I've been "scrapping" since my teens, but made it my official hobby in 2003.  Before that it was cross stitch, folk art painting, pretty much anything "crafty".

All my life I have loved photos. Even ones of people I don't know. And I've loved the stories that each photo tells. But eventually the story-tellers are gone and (if we’re lucky) the photo albums remain and while it's fun to imagine the story behind each picture, it's much more satisfying to know the real story. That is what motivates me to put pictures and pen to paper.  Well, that and the patterned paper.  Oh, and the mists and rub-ons and ribbon and chipboard.

Four kids, one endlessly supportive husband and many varied interests (cooking, reading, snowboarding, travel, photography, cottaging) provide me with more photos than I will ever get scrap booked, but in the meantime, I'm having a great time messing around with fun and artistic techniques and products. And when I need to sound more credible, I refer to myself as the "Guardian of my Family's History".  I'm thrilled to be part of the Scrap your Crap DT and look forward to alleviating some of my "hoarding guilt" by contributing here!”

"I am wife to a wonderful husband and Mom of our two beautiful daughters, two terrific sons and one great son in law. Originally from New England, Southern California is now our home. When not taking care of my family, I can often be found in my studio with my two precious Labrador Retrievers right beside me. My paper crafting focus is mostly on cards, but certainly scrapbook pages and altered items are common projects for me as well. I also enjoy doing counted cross stitch and baking. I love antiques, vintage things and estate jewelry- and "the hunt" for them by way of antiques stores and flea markets. I also love spending time at nearby Disneyland or walking along the beautiful beaches and enjoying the sunny, warm weather of SoCal.

Aimee has been crafting for as long as she can remember. Both of her parents were crafty people, too. In junior high school Aimee entered art competitions, and was active in art, music, and drama. Aimee discovered rubber stamping in 1996, and scrapbooking soon after, and has been busy ever since! Aimee shows work at local art galleries, teaches at local scrapbook stores, and is a Ranger Certified Educator.

We live in a small farming community....and honestly there's not much to do besides scrap and chase my kids from one sporting event to the next! I have been seriously scrapping now for 2 years but started many years ago when my first child was born. I scrapbook to preserve memories for my children and theirs to come but I also scrap as a creative outlet for myself!

My friends and family make fun of me because I see things differently than they do, I get inspired by surroundings and often wonder how I can scrap them or incorporate them into my crafting somehow, whether it be something that would make a great title or something that could be altered or sqeezed onto a layout. I would say I have more than one style of scrapping because I don't want to limit my creativitey. My dominant style is shabby/pretty chic, but I've been known to produce grungy as well as clean and simple layouts once in a while. I pretty much go where the pictures and paper take me! "

“Hello! My name is Renee and I'm a 34 year old mom of two boys, ages 10 and 7. I live in St. Cloud, Minnesota with my husband of 14 years and I work part-time as a Paraprofessional in my boys Elementary School. I love being home in the Summer and on holiday breaks with my boys. It is truly the best after being a SAHM mom for so many years.

I've been Papercrafting for over 10 years, but I've been crafty all my life since I was a small child.  About 5 years ago, I started Digital Scrapbooking. I primarily digital scrapbook nowadays, but still love to play with actual paper and embellishments. I love to rubberstamp and am addicted to making ATC cards (Artistic Trading Cards) and greeting cards. I also love making altered crafts and mini albums. I am really excited to be a part of the new team here at SYC and hope I can show off my creativity and inspire you a bit to try something new.

When I'm not crafting, I enjoy volunteering in my boys' Cub Scout Pack and helping out with my boys' school as the Yearbook Adviser.”

"My name is Dana Tatar and I am a stay-at-home mom. I have two daughters, Claire (4) and Scarlett (3). I married my high school sweetheart in 2003 and have been happy ever since. I graduated from MSU with a B.S. in Biochemistry and worked in that field for about 3 years before I gave birth to my first daughter and decided to stay home full time. I have had many hobbies over the years, but scrapping is the one that really gives me satisfaction. 

I started scrapbooking to preserve memories after the birth of my first daughter. I love to mix products from different collections on my layouts and I frequently find inspiration in music, poetry and pop culture. I love fussy cutting and flowers and both can be seen on the majority of my layouts. I would say that my dominant scrappy styles are clean and simple and pretty chic, but I do like to mix things up a bit, depending on the paper or photos I want to use. "I am a wife and mother of 3 small children, ages 7, 3 and 19 months. I live in Burlington, Ontario, Canada. I have scrapbooked seriously for about 4 years now, but I have been interested in arts and crafts my entire life. My style is kind of eclectic and a bit cluttered. I’m not a big fan of using a lot of white space, as I’m sure that you can tell. If I see and empty space, I feel compelled to fill it! Fast! Introducing the new crap scrappers

I am thrilled to say I have enlisted 3 more crap scrappers to help me out with this crazy fun adventure Simone and I have been on since February. We will continue to be featuring queens 2 times a month like we have been doing. The only difference is you will now have more inspiration to look at when the challenges roll out... YAY!!!

My name is Karen but I prefer to be called Liz. I live in TX with my hubby, two sons and our weird doggie. The men in my life have learned to deal with the fact that I have a serious paper addiction which started way back in 1998.

I love all things paper and love to apply paper to most things, like lampshades, wood items, clocks, etc. Anything I can find that looks ugly, I try to 're-do' it with paper. My current faves are October Afternoon and Thickers. Recently I've been trying to limit my stash by just purhcasing one monthly kit; it is actually working quite well and, honestly, I can't even use all that up!

Hello! Hello! This is Dana D. from sunny So. Cal!
My maiden name Shutt- combined with my love of photography- has set me up with the nickname of Shutterz since I was a kid.
I am a small business owner who happily lives with my hubby Larry and our fur-child Harrison. (I also apologize in advance for any typos-as Harrison is currently sitting on my keyboard as I write this!)
I have been scrapping before it had an official name. When I was a kid, I could often be found in my room listening to Rick Springfield on my stereo while cutting pictures out of Teen Beat and TV guide to glue onto construction paper. Things haven't changed all too much!

Here’s what you need to know about me:
I love really bad reality TV.
I hate scary movies because I am a total scaredy cat.
I love nothing better then starting my day just as the sun rises, drinking a cup of Vanilla coffee out of my favorite mug, while snuggled up with my favorite scrap magazine.
I hate going to bed angry.
I love that I started a blog , but I hate when someone leaves me spam!
I love fall even though we don’t really have seasons in San Diego. I hate being hot, which again isn’t always an option in the summer.
If I were British I would be called a magpie because I love glittery bits of this and that and I am thrilled to be in such amazing company... thanks for thinking I was even worthy!



I'm Lisa and a scrapaholic with way too much stuff, so working with Scrap Your Crap helps me feel a little less guilty about all the crap that I have! I quit the corporate world of banking about 4 years ago and my brain needed something to do, I discovered scrapbooking and it became an obsession. I have to scrap just like I had to go to work. I married my soulmate 5 years ago and finally realized being married wasn't a bad thing after all! I have two daughters 19 and 20. I am an animal lover and I have rescued 1 dog and 3 cats. That's enough about me, my blog will tell you more, I am so excited to be working with the girls here and can't wait to get started...so I'm off to scrap my crap!

and in honor of our new crap scrappers we are going to give away a RAK...yep sure are...BUT we are not giving you more stuff to hoard...that would defeat the purpose of this whole challenge blog right? ...so instead the fabulous Liz is going to give away a new blog banner to one of you lucky girls that participate.
