Important Announcement

It is with great sadness that we have to close SYC with immediate effect.

A member of the SYC family has just received some challenging news concerning health issues and therefore we have no option but to hibernate this blogs for the time being due to time constraints.

We may be re-opening the blog at a later stage and you still have many years of challenges to browse through and allow you to: Scrap That Crap!

Thank you all for understanding and for having taking part in our challenges over the years.

As before, we had TONS of talent responding to our call and I swear it gets harder and harder every time to narrow the applications down.

So, without further ado here are the new Queens of Crap 2012 (in no particular order)
Please take some time and check out their awesome blogs, you will love what they create!

Deedee Horton

And then we have these awesome ladies return for another term, we are so thrilled that they agreed to stay one for a further four months:

Finally we would like to thank all of you for having taken the time and trouble to apply - we are honoured that you wanted to become part of the team and sincerely hope that those we were not successful this time around will give it another try in four months time, when we have another call.

Challenge #68 - Eyelets or Brads

Thank you to everyone who played along with our floss or twine challenge last moth.

For Challenge No #68 we would like to see you make use of that EYELETS and/or BRADS.
Remember when eyelets were all the rage and after they slowly disappeared off the scene brads took over. We bet you still have either - or even both - in your stash and we would love to see how you incorporate them into your projects. Use as many or as few as you like and maybe even go really wild and use both :)

Be sure and comment with a link to your *newly created* project so we can see and comment on them.
If you link us to an online gallery, make sure that you only use one for which we do not need to register in order to view/comment
Please also consider to switch of word verification on your blogs if you would like our DT to leave comment. If you are worried about Spam you may want to have commen moderation enabled instead

And here are our DT examples to give you an idea on how to make use of eyelets and/or brads

And stay tuned to learn about our new DT in a few days time!
Check back on the 20th to see who will inspire you until the end of the year
